Paa-Kwesi Heto





Paa-Kwesi Heto is a visiting professor at the Soka University of America Graduate School and a project policy analyst for the National Science Foundation-funded Institute of Meaningful Engagement (TIME) at the University of California, Irvine (UCI). He also serves as the President/CEO of INDIE Education Initiative. Paa-Kwesi is a recipient of the Fulbright scholarship, the International Studies Association (ISA) dissertation completion grant, American Political Science Association (APSA) travel grant, the 2020 Etel Solingen Outstanding Paper in International Relations Award, the 2020 UCI Inclusive Excellence Ambassador Award, and the 2018 Global Citizens Award from the Global Connect Program. Paa-Kwesi has five master’s degrees in behavioral mathematics, demography and social analysis, educational leadership and societal change, global studies and international affairs, and political science. His Ph.D. in Political Science is from UCI.
